In Your Home Dog Training Boot Camp

We have partnered with Tropical Tails Boarding to now offer “board and train” services we call Boot Camp! Call or text for more information on this great service in Gulf Shores, AL.

Sometimes one on one dog training just isn’t enough. Whether your dog needs some extra help learning the basics, or some tools to overcome a behavioral issue (i.e. separation anxiety) our In Your Home dog training Boot Camp service might be the way to go.

Taking all the same principles and practices of our one on one training philosophy, we simply increase the frequency of the training so that they get an intensified, bootcamp style of training. This every-day training approach works very well for the owner who wants a well behaved dog and doesn’t necessarily have the time each day to devote to the initial training. 

We now offer two types of bootcamp – in your home, where our trainer will coordinate the best time each day to come by your home and work with your dog. You don’t even have to be home! Your dog can be getting trained while you’re grocery shopping, paying bills, or at work! If you prefer, you can be present during each session – you decide! And, board and train where your dog boards at Tropical Tails and our trainer works on site with your pet while you are on vacation, enjoying the good life!

4 Week Basic Obedience                                                                                          In your home: $2400                                                                                        Board and Train at Tropical Tails: $3580

What We Cover:  

• “Sit”
• “Stay”
• “Come”
• “Place”
• “Down”
• “Off”
• “Leave It”
• “Watch”
• “Heel”
•  Loose Leash Walking in your neighborhood
• Three owner-present sessions: Owners are welcome at any or all of the bootcamp sessions, but a minimum of three during the last week of training are required in order to transfer the learned behaviors of the dog to the owners

In your home bootcamp services are performed in your home environment for one hour each day, Monday-Thursday excluding major holidays. Board and train services are performed on location at Tropical Tails Monday-Friday for one hour each day. 

5 Week Behavior Modification                                                                                In your home: $3600                                                                                        Board and Train at Tropical Tails: $5420

What We Cover: 

• Everything in the Basic plus…
• Loose leash walking in the community
• Behavior modification
• Three owner-present sessions: Owners are welcome at any or all of the bootcamp sessions, but a minimum of three during the last week of training are required in order to transfer the learned behaviors of the dog to the owners

In your home bootcamp services are performed in your home environment and in the local community, for one hour each day during the first three weeks, and 1.5-2 hours each day during the last two weeks, Monday-Thursday excluding major holidays. Board and train services are performed on location at Tropical Tails and in the local community for the same hours, Monday-Friday.

Five Week Off Leash – includes collar                                                                  In your home: $3850                                                                                        Board and Train at Tropical Tails: $5670

What We Cover:  

• Everything in the Basic plus…
• Off leash training with electric collar
• Three owner-present sessions: Owners are welcome at any or all of the bootcamp sessions, but a minimum of three during the last week of training are required in order to transfer the learned behaviors of the dog to the owners

In your home bootcamp services are performed in your home environment and in the local community, for one hour each day udring hte first three weeks, and 1.5-2 hours each day during the last two weeks, Monday-Thursday excluding major holidays. Board and train services are performed on location at Tropical Tails and in the local community for the same hours, Monday-Friday.
